Pianista dalla fama internazionale definito ‘musicista dalle mille sfumature’ dalla stampa norvegese, è stato acclamato dalla stampa russa come ‘pianista di grande compenetrazione e rara espressività’. Membro di giuria in concorsi internazionali (William Kapell, Gina Bachauer, San Antonio International Piano Competition, Vega in Japan) ha fatto parte anche del Martha Argerich International Piano Competition di Buenos Aires. Nel suo repertorio fi gurano i lavori romantici di Schumann, Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Bach, Mozart e Beethoven. Esperto conoscitore della musica di Ginastera, suona regolarmente al Verbier Festival in Svizzera e al Martha Argerich Festival di Lugano e Buenos Aires. Allievo della scuola di Scaramuzza a Buenos Aires, nella quale si sono formati, tra gli altri, Martha Argerich e Bruno Leonardo Gelber, risiede tra la sua amata Buenos Aires a la California, con viaggi europei annuali, dove tiene anche numerosi masterclass.
Eduardo Delgado piano
is an Argentine classical pianist and teacher living in California. Born in Rosario, Argentina, Delgado is a recipient of the Vladimir Horowitz Award and has received grants from the Mozarteum Argentino, Martha Baird Rockefeller, and the Concert Artists Guild.
Delgado has recorded the full works of Alberto Ginastera and also works of Schumann, Liszt, Chopin and Mendelssohn Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. Delgado is a regular performer at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland and and the Martha Argerich Festival in Lugano and Buenos Aires. He has collaborated with Martha Argerich in several duets, the most recent being Tres Romances by Carlos Guastavino. Norwegian critics have described Delgado as “a pianist of a thousand nuances, a fantastic experience. In Russia, the Sovetskaya Kultura wrote “Delgado’s Bach had brilliance, a profound meditation and a musical tone rarely heard.
